what have elite chambers

done so far in their investigation?

We have had numerous meetings with Richard and other investors of Bentley Global (UK) Limited to assess what action can be taken against the parties involved, as a result we have established that there are two routes of claim that we can take.

One of these will be a litigation claim against Blue Water Capital (BWC). BWC played an integral part in making these bonds available to investors, they are an FCA regulated firm who certified that the investment memorandum that was circulated to potential investors was not in breach of any FCA rules and provided a true picture of the investment in question. They were also the security trustee for the bondholders for some of the time that Bentley Global was actively raising money.

We contend that they were negligent (at the very least) in doing so. There are a number of statements within this document are misleading and entirely false.

The claims made for the clients who have invested in Bentley Global (UK) Limited, were headed up by Michael Levy and Andy Holland.

You were invited to a Webinar hosted by Elite Chambers to discuss Bentley Global (UK) Limited on the 7th September.

How can we act to secure compensation for the losses you have incurred by investing in this company?

If you know of any other investors with whom we have not contacted and who would like to attend, please either forward this email to them or email [email protected] with their contact details and we will get in touch.

frequently asked questions

BG were a firm who supposedly created an artificially intelligent algorithm (valued at over £27 million) that would successfully predict the results of football matches, they then persuaded potential investors to invest in a very high yielding bond agreement where the investor would lend money to the company for a maximum of 3 years and in return, they would receive their investment back along with up to 20% interest per annum.

It has now transpired that such algorithm never existed and was a mere set of “rules” that would be followed when the bets were placed.

The company is now in administration and the bondholders are unlikely to receive any of the money back that they invested.

We believe that Bentley Global (UK) Limited were running a sophisticated scam designed to extract money from individuals.

As a result of this, the individuals may be able to claim their losses back from their bank (if certain criteria are met) and will also be able to claim against the FCA regulated firm who confirmed that the investment memorandum was not misleading.

Elite Chambers work on a “no win, no fee” basis for the majority of the cases we pursue on behalf of our clients and this is no different.

We have also arranged a special fee arrangement for Bentley Global investors, more details can be found here(link to fee page)

Our approach is extremely client-centric and, although we are a for profit business, we ensure that our clients are always at the forefront of any decisions that are made at every level of the company. To this end, we will invest large sums of money fighting cases which some of our competitors will give up with at the first hurdle. This may be a large risk to us, however we want to ensure that our clients are taken care of and every angle of their claim is explored, especially when they have been
wronged by a person that they should have been able to trust.

Taking this approach has led us to improve the knowledge and service that we provide to our clients and secure the best outcomes for those who have been left with no option but to utilise our services
when faced with losing vast sums of money.

The claims made for the clients who have invested in Bentley Global (UK) Limited, will be headed up by Michael Levy and Andy Holland.

Michael Levy is a practicing Barrister who was called to the Bar in July 1991 and has built up a wealth of experience within his 32 year career. He has particular experience dealing with class action cases and has a reputation as a determined fighter who will deal with cases that other lawyers have rejected and do everything he can to turn them into a success. Michael has no problem dealing with cases where the odds are against him particularly where he is up against larger firms and dealing with a large amount of claimants. Michael uses his knowledge of the law, along with his love for technology to create new and innovative ways to deal with large case loads and ensure that his
clients achieve the best possible outcome without being landed with a huge cost bill.

Andy Holland has worked in the claims industry for around 10 years (whilst taking 2 years out to become the Operations and Compliance Manager of a firm of Independent Financial Advisers), he
has qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute (a recognised body for financial services qualifications). He is particularly skilled in finding new angles in claims that have previously been rejected and does so from his experience within the financial services sector and using the knowledge built up from working within the financial services and legal industries and studying for his qualifications. He joined Elite Chambers in 2020 and worked with them to improve some of their procedures and knowledge surrounding niche cases.

He has recently been working on overturning over 180 compensation calculations where the body in question spent two years telling him his approach was incorrect but due to Andy’s tenacity and perseverance they have recently confirmed that they are recalculating the compensation on the cases in question which should lead to clients receiving almost £6million more than they would have done previously.

Michael and Andy will be supported by a team of like-minded individuals who will assist them throughout the claims process.
