Fortuna Wealth Management Limited
You can now claim against Fortuna Wealth Management Limited
Fortuna Wealth Management previously known as Fidelis Wealth Management Ltd,
and AWG Financial Ltd was an independent financial advisory firm based in
Wolverhampton. In August 2019, the FCA withdrew its permission after Fortuna
broke rules and regulations when placing investments on unsuitable bonds, which
were high risk. Fortuna entered into liquidation on 8th November 2021.
When Andrew Deeney was still an advisor at Active Wealth UK, which had played a
significant role in the British Steel Pension Scheme scandal, he founded Fortuna.
Following Active Wealth’s insolvency in February 2018, Fortuna purchased its client
bank.
Fortuna took on approximately 150 clients. The FCA states Fortuna failed to provide
accurate information when 30 of these clients invested in high-risk bonds. Moreover,
Fortuna charged at least 120 clients without providing any service.
The FSCS is now accepting claims against Fortuna. You might be liable for compensation if you dealt with this company.
