In October 2018, the firm was told by the Financial Conduct Authority to “cease carrying on any business that involves any regulated activities relating to new investment or pension business arising from unregulated introducers, or in any way connected to the activities of unregulated introducers.” [/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][mk_blockquote style=”line-style” font_family=”none”]

FOS decision told the story of how a client received advice from Torch Wealth Management to transfer their pension to a SIPP back in 2015. The advice was found to be inappropriate as the investments chosen were too high risk and resulted in a loss of thousands of pounds.
